Why this place is important to me

This is our school garden. We want to improve it because it will be easier for us to clear it up. We are an eco school, going for our 3rd flag so we can have a better environment for the school. It will help other people in the school, like the primary and secondary classes as well as preserving the garden for future generations. It will look nicer for parents and visitors who come to the school on special days like coffee mornings, eco days and euro days. We can enjoy the garden when it is tidy and classes could go out and work there.

My plan to improve this place

We want to fix the slabs because they are sticking up and need to be levelled out so that children cannot fall over. This is important because some children have wheelchairs and others can't walk too well.

We want to clean up the slabs professionally because we couldn't get them clean ourselves. They are covered in old paint from playground games that we don't use any more.

We want to paint the wooden frames on the flower beds because they are peeling and need re-done.

We would also like to put more plants, flowers and tubs in the garden to make it look nice.
